She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Fowler and Mildred Fowler. She is survived by: her husband Stephen E. Deck; her children, Scott Deck (Kristin) of Jonesville, MI, Craig Deck (Michelle) of Horton, MI, Jodi Deck of Troy, OH and Betsy Lumpkins (Dathan) of St. Joseph, MI.; and her in-laws, Donald and Dolores Deck. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hampton Funeral Homes - Hillsdale (3380 W Carleton Rd, Hillsdale, MI 49242). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that memorial donations can be given to the Hanover-Horton Athletic Boosters with Hanover-Horton Schools, located at 10000 Moscow Rd., Hanover, MI 49246 Barbara's funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hampton Funeral Home in Hillsdale, Michigan.
