He was predeceased by : his parents, Darrell Hinkle and Barbara Hinkle (Crofts); his daughter Jody Lynn Hinkle; his parents-in-law, Clyde and Barbara Sanderson; and his brother-in-law Gerry Wright.

He is survived by : his wife Lou Ellen Hinkle; his son Rick A. Hinkle (Laurie); his grandchildren, Jacob Denning, Zachary Denning and Chelsea Scioli (Andrew); his great grandchildren, Isabelle and Vincent; and his siblings, Carla Allshause (Dave), Sandra Wright and Richard Hinkle (Susan).

Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of Hillsdale County.
