We announce the death of Betty L. Bisel (Hillsdale, Michigan), who passed away on September 29, 2026, at the age of 100. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Biechler and Marie Biechler; her siblings, Raymond, Donald, Carl, John Biechler, JoAnn Chambers and Geraldine Bonheimer; her husbands, Roger Martin and Walter Bisel; her son William Martin (Bill); and her granddaughter Jennifer Martin.
She is survived by: her daughter Judith Proko; her grandchildren, Emily Pearcy (Brad), Ben Proko (Katie), Joanna Martin and Jeff Martin (Jenny); her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Barrett Pearcy, Lindsay, Clara Proko, Marissa, Logan Martin and Reese Franklin; and her niece Lisa Hamilton.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Perennial Park Senior Center, Hillsdale Fire Department, or Hospice of Hillsdale County.
