It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles D. VanBuskirk (Hillsdale, Michigan), who passed away on February 15, 2026, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George VanBuskirk and Doris Peters (Stump); his sisters, Phyllis Wise and Norma Gene; and his brother-in-law Tom Deck.
He is survived by: his children, Katrina Lynch (Robert) of Pittsford, Chris VanBuskirk (Angie) of Osseo, Doug Preston of Hillsdale and Tammy Campbell (Patrick) of Frontier; his siblings, Gail Deck, Sandy Shepherd and Ed VanBuskirk (DaWanda); and his close friends, Kenny Kierns and Marty Calhoun. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren.
