He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Skiver and Betty Skiver Davis (Sloan); and his siblings, Deborah Skiver and Gerald Skiver. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Skiver of Hillsdale; his children, Hope Sygnecki (Paul) of Bronson and Grant Skiver of Hillsdale; his granddaughter Hanna Sygnecki; and his sister Leona Sattison (Jay) of Fremont, Indiana..
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home (40 S Manning St, Hillsdale, MI 49242). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church - Hillsdale (69 Griswold St, Hillsdale, MI 49242).
