He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Sanderson and Berniece Sanderson (Rieck). He is survived by: his wife Mary Sanderson; his children, Leigh Sanderson of Ann Arbor and Kirk Sanderson (Annmarie) of Huntington Woods; his grandchildren, Maggie Sanderson Smoker and Emmett Sanderson; his sister Susan Sanderson of North Port, Florida; and his twin-brother William "Bill" Sanderson (Jennifer) of Kalamazoo.
