He was predeceased by: his parents, Egon Kas and Rosemary Kas (Wright); and his daughter Erica Kas. He is survived by: his daughter Nicole Kas of Hillsdale; his stepchildren, Tammy Rothlisberger (Tim), Tracy VanBuskirk, Christine Hagerman (Bob), Stacey Nash, Matt Nash and Corey Paisley; his siblings, Dennis Kas (Pamela) of Hillsdale, Elaine Kas of Roseville, Timothy Kas of Warren and Lisa Crow (Paul) of Imlay City; and his former wife Sarah Kas of Camden. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.
