George Maurice Yoder Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Maurice Yoder of Hillsdale, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 24, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Yoder and Thelma Yoder (Sowers); and his sister Sharon Pitts. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Yoder; his children, Eric Yoder (Kimberly Hickman) of Florida, Maurine Burke (Gerremy) of Hillsdale, Jessica Yoder (Carl Smith) of Jonesville, Rene Hunt of Jonesville and Matthew Waite of Lansing; his grandchildren, Kiana (Ryzer), Grace, Izabella (Joe), Rosie, Ellyson, Liam and Lincoln; and his sisters, Maurine McConnell (Ron) and Linda Griffiths (Bruce).

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Henry Ford Hospice Home in Jackson.
