James C. Shamplo Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James C. Shamplo of Hillsdale, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 22, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Shamplo and Viva Shamplo (Laser); his wife Marion Hanning; his sons, Mike and Mark Hanning; and his siblings, Dean Shamplo, Wendell Shamplo, Margaret Bonner and Beverly Mullaly.
He is survived by: his children, Barbette Spratt (Steven), Donella Hunt (Richard), Chuck Hanning, Linda McNette (Bob) and Sandy Keller; his grandchildren, Stasha Spratt and Steven Spratt (Yvan); and his sister Joyce Shannon. He is also survived by many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
