He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Bartley and Alma Bartley (Hampton); and his siblings, Troy Bartley, Molly Oliver and Edith Robinson.

He is survived by: his wife Sarah Bartley; his siblings, Wanda Mazzie (Tony), Hannie Little, Dorene Hall and Hurley Bartley (Ruth); his children, Junior Bartley (Kate), Rodger Bartley and Brenda Bartley; and his stepchildren, Bill Potter (Rita) and Anne Murphy. He is also survived by several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Those who wish may make a memorial contribution to the Senior Center of Hillsdale or Litchfield Baptist church.
