He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Ferguson and Mattie Lee Ferguson (Byers); his brothers, Jimmie and Donnie Ferguson; and his sisters-in-law, Pat and Katie Ferguson.

He is survived by: his children, Rae Organ, Bart Ferguson (Gail) and David Ferguson (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Ryan Organ (Stephanie), Stephen Organ, Elyse Muehl (Adam), Gary Ferguson, Taylor Westenberg (Mark) and Dillon Ferguson; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Daniel, Matthew, Zachary, Lillian, Beckett, Brooks and Kaylen; his brother Harold Ferguson; and his sister-in-law Cindy Ferguson.
