She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Nichols and Ione Nichols (Helvering); her husband Raymond Strachn; her daughter Nancy Rose; the father of her children John Ellsworth; and her siblings, Shirley Sheffer, Joanne Bliss and Harold Nichols.

She is survived by: her sons, John Ellsworth (Wendy), Allen Ellsworth and Bill Ellsworth; her stepchildren, Cynthia Lewis (Sherman), Deborah Walentowki (Marvin), Steve Strachn (Carlene), Jeffery Strachn (Earlene), David Strachn (Debi), Tracy Strachn (Debbie) and Timothy Strachn (Tina); and her sister Donna Rushlon. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
