He was predeceased by: his parents, James Goodwin and Hazel Zagyva Goodwin (Raymond Homan); his brother-in-law Jerry Wise; and his former wife Alice Jean Hartley (Simmons). He is survived by: his children, Vincent Goodwin (Lynette Sawyer) and Cindy Goodwin of Elkhart; his grandchildren, Branem, Quinten Goodwin and Morgan Schumaker; his great grandchild Aaron Goodwin; his great great grandchild Ivy Creek Goodwin; his sister Shirley Goodwin Wise; and his stepsister Solitaire "Kitty" Homan.
