He was predeceased by: his niece Brittany Ames. He is survived by: his parents, Phil Thomas and Ellen Marie Marvin (Hartley); his siblings, Bridget Ames (Stan) of Tecumseh, MI, Elizabeth Phelan (John) of Tecumseh, MI and Patrick Marvin (Dawn) of Brooklyn, MI; and his siblings' children, Broderick Ames, Emily Phelan Nowak (Josh), Aurora Gaishin (Leyton), Cormac Phelan and Hartley Marvin. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, close friends.
Memorial contributions in honor of Phil may be made to the Brittany E. Ames Knights of Columbus Scholarship Fund or to the Hillsdale Community Schools.
