With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Phyllis C. Sawyer of Hillsdale, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Bemis and Nida Bemis (Stewart); her spouse Danual Dakota Sawyer; her daughter Dona Jean; and her brothers, Max, Don and Roger.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Sawyer (Brenda) of Horton, Douglas Sawyer (Cindy) of Hillsdale and Kitty Rigelman; and her grandchildren, Chris Kiersey, Colonel Gunnar Kiersey (Laurie), Shelby Foster (Steve), Brandy Gundy (Chris), James Sawyer, Heather Bell (Zane), Nicki Rigelman and Tyler Sawyer (Lauren). She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Hillsdale County Medical Care Facility.
