He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd F. Thompson and Betty L. Thompson (Coutillier); his son Marty Thompson; and his daughter-in-law Tracy Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Sonja (Eckert); his sons, Ricky Thompson of Pulaski, Timmy Thompson (Rhonda) of Hanover and Carey Thompson of Pulaski; his daughter-in-law Pam Thompson; and his sisters, Janet Welter (Dean) of Spring Arbor, Charnell Lawrence (Jim) of North Carolina and Rhosan Counzelman (Mike) of North Carolina. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
