Though Stanley may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Petrie and Diane Petrie Jr. (Strine); and his sister Elaine Bondsteel. He is survived by: his children, Shanice Thorpe (Zachary) of Hudson, Amie Barnett (Matthew) of Litchfield and Matthew Petrie (Elise) of Jonesville; and his sisters, Pam Smith (Gary), Dorothy Johns (Rick) and Sandy Johns (Rusty). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren.
