With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thelma I. Painter of Hillsdale, Michigan, born in Jonesville, Michigan, who passed away on June 20, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Blair and Dorothy Blair (Evans); her husband Edward Painter; her daughter Judy Sowle; her grandchildren, Michelle and Richard; and her siblings, Richard, Stanley Blair and Marilyn Shaw.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Painter Jr., Brenda Fisher, Barbara Butler and Richard Painter; and her sister Charlotte Fowler. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; several great and great-great grandchildren.
