Vera Ladd Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera Ladd of Hillsdale, Michigan, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Anderson and Marie Anderson (Fortelka); her husband Gerald E. "Jerry" Ladd; and her brother John Anderson. She is survived by: her children, Martha Ladd of Silver Spring, MD, Jeffrey "Jeff" Ladd of Hillsdale and Lorraine "Lorri" Ladd of Dayton, VA; her grandchildren, Christine Marshall (Paul), Eric Hurst, Jeremy Ladd, Justin Ladd and Jarrett Ladd; her great grandchildren, Maddison Marshall, Royce Ladd, Ryen Ladd and Remy Ladd; her siblings-in-law, Donald Ladd (Louella), Duane Ladd, Margaret Ladd Dunton and Sharon Ladd; her nieces, Sarah Anderson Burcillo (David) and Julie Alexandrin; and her nephew Kurt Anderson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of Hillsdale County, St. Peters Free Clinic, or Hillsdale Community Library.
