He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Johnson and Amber Johnson (Good); his siblings, Jerry, Rodger, Arildean, Judy, Ronnie, Rosie, Bev and Shirley; and his stepdaughter Kathy.

He is survived by: his brother Rick Johnson; his stepson Jeff; his close friend Tim Barnett; and his former wife Cheryl Johnson. He is also survived by three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
