We are sad to announce that on July 26, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Arlene B. Cizek Schoon in Holland, Michigan, born in Chicago, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie Cizek (Mae) and George Cizek; her in-laws, John A. Schoon, Vera Schoon and Anne Schoon; her brother-in-law Jon Mark Schoon; and her niece-in-law Michele Sterk Schoon.
She is survived by: her husband Dale Schoon; her children, David Schoon (Lisa) and Leslie Monday (Marc); her grandsons, Van Monday and Beckett Monday; her brother Chuck Cizek (Deb); her sister-in-law Mary Kay Schoon (Jon Mark); and her sibling's children, Tyler Cizek (Jilanne) of Juliana Cizek, J. R., Kathryn Schoon-Tanis (Joel) and Gretchen Schoon-Tanis (Phil Tanis). She is also survived by nine great-grandnieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Reformed Church (630 State St, Holland, MI 49423). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
