He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearlie Walters Alsip and Nolan R. Alsip; and his brother James Alsip. He is survived by: his daughter April Alsip; his sisters, Nola Veling (Marie) and Susie Jano Alsip Childers; his brother-in-law Darrel Childers; his nephew Derrick Martin Childers; and his nieces, Lisa A. Rozeboom and Jamie S. Veling. He is also survived by six grandchildren; two great-nephews; three great-nieces; two great-great-nephews; and one great-great-niece.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dykstra Funeral Home – Mulder Chapel (188 32nd St, Holland, MI 49423). Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dykstra Funeral Homes Mulder Chapel (188 32nd St, Holland, MI 49423).
