He is survived by: his wife Teri; his son Jacob; his sister Eva Evink (Dave) of Hamilton; his sister-in-law Katherine Groenewoud of Zeeland; and his parents-in-law, Richard and Diana Groenewoud of Zeeland. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
