She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ash and Fay Ash; her husband Franklin Wierda (Frank); her parents-in-law, Frank and Effie Wierda; and her brothers, Gene Ash, Gary Ash and Alvin Ash.

She is survived by: her children, Michael, Susan (James Ridlington), Calvin (Michelle Wierda), Paul (Cristy Wierda) and Judith (Bert Block); her sister Shirley Waterway; and her in-laws, Shirley Schregardus, Elaine Zwiep, Roger, Nancy Wierda and Beverly Bos. She is also survived by grandchildren, 13 beloved great grandchildren.
