We bid farewell to Berniece Elaine Nienhuis of Holland, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 17, 2025 at the age of 88. Berniece touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Austhof and Nelli Austhof (Rynsburger); her husband Elmer; and her former husband Charles DeFeyter. She is survived by: her daughters, Charlene Zwiers (Randy) and Cynthia Fishnick; her grandchildren, Kathleen Zwiers, Dan Zwiers (Regina) and Stephanie Kurkjian (Troy); her great grandchildren, James, Oakley and Leo; and her sister-in-law Alma Boerman. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
