He is survived by: his parents, William Overway and Carolyn Overway; his wife Margery Overway; his children, Calvin Overway Jr. (Amber) of South Carolina, Amy Pogue (Will) of Missouri, Tammi Barnes (Bobby) of Missouri and Jean Hewitt of Colorado; and his siblings, Mark Overway (Sally), Debra Langejans, Bill Overway (Linda) and Susan Lokers (Scott). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
