Carol Jean Hunter Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on September 18, 2025, at the age of 89, Carol Jean Hunter of Holland, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Stine and Myrtle Stine; her sister Marilyn; and her daughter Karen. She is survived by: her husband Gerald Hunter; her daughter Karlene Bittner (Mickey); her grandchildren, Emily of Hamilton, Alyssa of Hamilton, Elizabeth of Hamilton and Jacob Bittner of Hamilton; her sister Norma Clayton (Paul); and her brother-in-law Dan Webster. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was a governor of the Iowa State University Foundation and an avid fan of Iowa State University athletics.
