She was predeceased by: her husband Justin; her brother Philip; and her sisters-in-law, Donna Michmerhuizen, Rose Marie Michmerhuizen and Nelva Michmerhuizen.

She is survived by: her children, Rob Petroelje (Sally) of Villa Park, IL, Dawn Walters-Folkert, Melvin Busscher of Holland, Nancy Engelsman (Jack) of Hudsonville, John Petroelje (Brenda) of Holland, Joel Petroelje (Deb) of Holland and Dan Petroelje (Kathi) of Holland; and her siblings, James Michmerhuizen of Boston, MA, Joyce Koeman (Jack) of Holland and Terry Michmerhuizen of Kalamazoo Funeral. She is also survived by 21 Grandchildren, 38 Great grandchildren.
