He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Helen Van Loo; his siblings, Dorothy Groenhof (Art), Elaine Bulthuis (Don), Paul Van Loo, Marjorie Smith (Bob), Cornie Van Loo and Beatrice Zylema (Roger); his wife Louise; his children, Sandra Sikkel (Chuck), Rod Van Loo (Sheri) and Dean Van Loo (Kim); his grandchildren, Alec, Trevor, Cecilia, Elena (Erin) and Aiden Van Loo; and his parents-in-law, Norma Van Loo, Dena Spykman, Minie, Corry Zwart and Chris Veenstra (Martin). He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
