He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stravers and Sarah Stravers (Vos); and his brothers, Gilbert, Tony, Joe and Jerry.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Stravers (Ver Meer); his sister Janiece Monsma (Stravers); and his children, Rick, Mary, Joy and Amy. He is also survived by spouses; plus 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
