He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Bouws and Janet Bouws; and his siblings, James Bouws, Gordon, Ruthann Bouws and Donna Balder.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Bouws; his daughters, Ann Lampen of Zeeland and Jana Hnetynka (Dustin) of Holland; his grandchildren, Tenley Lampen and Hudson Lampen; his sister Gloria Zuidema (Jack) of Holland; and his in-laws, Mary Lou Bouws of Zeeland, Jerry Wildschut (Joanne) of Holland and Sally VanDyke (David) of Holland. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home (315 E 16th St, Holland, MI 49423). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Central Wesleyan Church (446 W 40th St, Holland, MI 49423).
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital (St. Jude Children's Research Hospital) and Cleveland Clinic (Give to Cleveland Clinic ' Cleveland Clinic).
