With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Floyd Maat of Holland, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by : his parents, John Maat and Susie Maat (Piers); his wife Bertha Vanden Heuvel; and his son Thomas Maat. He is survived by : his children, Sandy, Dave Habers of Zeeland, Kathy, Jerry Roth of Cheboygan, MI, Chuck and Michelle Maat of Lakeland; and his in-laws, Melvin (Mike), Judee Vanden Heuvel of Battle Creek, June Vanden Heuvel and Mick Zuverink of Zeeland. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home (315 E 16th St, Holland, MI 49423). Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be given to Gentiva Hospice, Central Avenue CRC, or one's choice.
