He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Klopfer; his children, Kristin Berends, Michael Klopfer and Nathan Klopfer; his grandchildren, Courtney Berends, Allie Bongiorno (Dominic) and Cole Klopfer; and his brother Robert Klopfer.
