She was predeceased by: her parents, Florentino Ruiz and Eliza Ruiz (Saucedo) of Laredo, TX.; and her brothers, Florentino, Hector and Rodolfo Ruiz.
She is survived by: her husband Pete; her daughters, Sylvia Madrigal, Esther Gomez, Ana Maria Cabrera (Jośe) and Graciela Gomez; and her siblings, Ernesto Ruiz (Guadalupe) of Dearborn Heights, MI, Tino Ruiz (Sally) of Holland, MI, Margie Benavides (Benito) of Holland, MI and Socorro VanSlooten (Ron) of Holland, MI. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
