She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wychers and Alice Wychers; her husband Kars Petersen; and her siblings, Jeanne (Harvey Poel), Bernard (Ann Wychers), Jerry (Phyllis) and Gene Wychers.

She is survived by: her children, Jan David (JoAnn), Bill (Lesley) and Beth King (Bob); her grandchildren, Chris Petersen (Chrissy), Eric Petersen (Alison), Allison Brown (Chris), Julie Chen (Henry), Steve King (Kelli), Jason King (Laura), Kars Petersen and Veronica Petersen; and her great grandchildren, Bennett Petersen, Grace, Milo Petersen, Morgan, Carson, Holden Brown, Acacia, Micah Chen, Levi, Owen, Maxwell King, Joel, Anna, Kyle, Toby and Leah King.

Memorial gifts may be given to Holland Free Health Clinic instead of flowers.
