He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Brown and Faye Brown; and his children-in-law, Jon Dekker and Kelly Brown. He is survived by: his brother Wayne; his wife Phyllis Prins; his children, Dean Brown, Laurie (Paul Stears) and Sue (Dan Brookhouse); and his great grandchildren, JulieAnne, Pete Kamps (Piper), Chad, Samantha Stears (Josie), Max, Kelsy Stears, Andrew, Kelly Brown, Patrick Brown, Griffin, Ashley Dekker (Clarke) and Tate Dekker.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Third Reformed Church (111 W 13th St, Holland, MI 49423). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to World Vision.
