He was predeceased by: his sons, Jamie and Brian. He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Jodi Becksvoort, Sally and Ryan Vander Haar; his great grandchildren, Brett, Tricia Vander Haar, Renae, Stephen Anderson, Jenna Vander Haar, Cody, Kristen Becksvoort and Derek Vander Weg; his siblings, Mike (Elaine Becksvoort), Julia Stadt, Leona Scholten and Martha (Jim Zylstra); and his mothers-in-law, Barb Becksvoort and Joan Meeuwsen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
