He is survived by: his former wife Wilma Bylsma; his children, Jack Hertel (Debra) of Hudsonville, MI, Jane Cooper (Craig) of Elkhart Lake, WI and Carol Dunning (Richard) of Fremont, MI; his grandchildren, Jill Baker (Christiaan), Katie Cerny (Mike), Christy Lowe (Steve), David Cooper (Suzanne), Patty Jander (Chris) and Jim Hertel; his sister-in-law Shirley Hoffman (Robert); his wife Dolores "Dee" Campbell; and his children, Claire Boersma (Bill), Nancy Post (Robert) and Mary Sue Beuker (John). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
