He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Ruth Jacobs and Howard J. Jacobs; his siblings, Jay, Roger, Henry Jacobs, Martha Blood and Judy Jacobs; and his nephews, John Boersma II and Curtis Jacobs.

He is survived by: his son Joshua Henry Jacobs of Holland, MI; his granddaughters, Payton Elizabeth Jacobs, Ezri Ardela Griffin and Amira Jean Price of Holland, MI; and his sisters, Nancy Boersma of Holland, MI and Lori Jacobs of Savannah, GA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and even a few great-great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Holland in Jeff's honor.
