He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Redeker and Laura Redeker (Schinzel). He is survived by: his wife Elsie Delaine Vande Zande; his sister Beth Vanderkin (Ted); his children, Lisa Williams (Mike), Joel Redeker (Joreen), Cara Theile (Tom) and Allyson Rys (Kirk); and his grandchildren, Jonathan Redeker (Emma), Bethany Derungs (Luka), Madison Crowley (Kyle), Hanna Theile, Audrey Redeker, Megan Williams, Elsa Theile, Hoover Theile and Henry Rys.

Memorial contributions can be made to Christ Memorial Church, Words of Hope, and the Hope-Western Seminary Prison Education Program.
