He was predeceased by: his former wives, Myra De Frell (Sterenberg) and Hazel De Frell (Ash). He is survived by: his wife Gayle; his daughters, Lavonne Van Kampen (Leon), Sandra Steketee (Woody) and Jilaine Geurink (Mike); his stepchildren, Kevin Ash (Laura), Cindy Oosterbaan (Doug) and Mark Kamps (Denise); his grandchildren, Larry, Lisa Van Kampen, Lyle, Nicki Van Kampen, Brandon, Ally Geurink, Heather, Jon Konieczny, Dominic, Laurie Ash, Zachary Ash, Aimee Ash, Krista Ash, Melissa, Nate Mathis, Jeff and Alison Kamps; his great grandchildren, Drew Van Kampen, Stella Van Kampen, Piper Geurink, Connor Kuipers, Cameron Kuipers, Elise Kuipers, Ian Ash and Joshua Ash; his grandchildren, Mila Mathis and Parker Mathis; and his sister-in-law Arlene De Frell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
