He was predeceased by: his daughter Frances Ann Groover. He is survived by: his wife Wieda Karsten; his children, John H. Karsten of Lansing, Elizabeth Zeerip (Steve) of Vriesland and Irene Kroll (Eric) of Olive Center; and his brother-in-law Andrew Huisman (Mary) of Holland. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren 14 Great Granchildren 5 Great Great Grandchildren 1 brother and 5 sisters.
