With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Van Iwaarden (Holland, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 27, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Iwaarden and Johanna Van Iwaarden (VanderBie); and his brothers, Alvin and Theodore. He is survived by: his wife Donna Van Iwaarden; his children, Nancy Kowalski, John Jr. Van Iwaarden (Ariane), David Van Iwaarden, Deborah DeMino (Ken), Mark Van Iwaarden (Tracey) and Daniel Van Iwaarden (DJ); his stepson Casey Franklin; his grandchildren, Tiffany, Derrick Elizardo, Nicole, Stefan Wilson, John, Kylea Van Iwaarden, Austin Van Iwaarden, Steven, Eileen Van Iwaarden, Gavin Van Iwaarden, Catherine DeMino, Danielle Van Iwaarden, Deborah Van Iwaarden, Dorothy Van Iwaarden, Dana Van Iwaarden, Davina Van Iwaarden, Daniel Jr. Van Iwaarden and Maddie Franklin; and his sister Hazel Defeyter (Arnie). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
