With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Josefina Castro-Sandoval of Holland, Michigan, born in Elsa, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 9, 2025 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her husband Max Sandoval; her parents, Gregorio Castro and Rosa Lugo; her siblings, Noe Castro, Hermenegildo Castro (Guadalupe), Maria E Collazo (Marcilio), Pedro Castro (Refugia) and Cruz Martinez; her son-in-law Antonio Olivarez Jr.; her grandson Joshua Sandoval; and her great grandchild Saniya Sandoval.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the North Holland Cemetery (2436 Beeline Rd, Holland, MI 49424). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
