He was predeceased by: his parents, Dutch Herweyer and Toots Herweyer; and his brothers, Buck, Marvin and Jim Herweyer.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene; his children, Sherri Duren (Bill) of Hamilton and Paul Herweyer of Grand Haven; his grandchildren, Bill Duren (Sheryl), Amber Duren, Sam Duren (Michelle), Lily Chapman (Aaron), Mary Duren, Sarah Silva (Cedric), Jed Duren, David Duren, Pearl Duren and Ruby Duren; his siblings, Karen Antles (Jack) of Montana, Jerry Herweyer (Joan) of Zeeland, MI, Luanne Barney of Turkey, Dona Herweyer of West Olive, MI, Bob (Cynthia) and Katy Gutschmidt (Bryon) of Allendale, MI; and his sister-in-law Sue Herweyer of Holland. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
