He was predeceased by: his brother Dale Nykamp; his in-laws, Paul Jacobusse, Marian Johnson and Jason Scholten; and his parents, James Nykamp and Janet Nykamp (Habers).
He is survived by: his wife Helene Nykamp (Scholten); his grandchildren, Doug, Jany Nykamp, Lisa, Jerry Steenwyk, Jon and Stephanie Nykamp (Kaylynn); his siblings, Joyce Jacobusse, Evonne and Kelly Inderberg; and his in-laws, Howard Johnson, Shirley Scholten, Louise, Terry Otting and Jan Nykamp.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the Mission Fund at Covenant Presbyterian Church (PCA) or to Ascending Leaders.
