He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius and Myrtle Van Dyke; his wife Carolyn Westerhof Van Dyke; his sons-in-law, Mark Kuite and Sheldon Booth Jr.; and his great grandchild Kimberly Kuite.
He is survived by: his children, Pam Booth, Paula Gilmore (Michael), Deb Therrian, Sally Elenbaas (David) and Tom Van Dyke; his grandchildren, Michael, Erika, Joshua, Daniel and Ryan; and his brother-in-law Philip Westerhof. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
