She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Spencer and Margaret Spencer; her husband Donald VanKampen; her siblings, Scott Spencer and Fran Ignasiack; and her brothers-in-law, Robert Vogelsong and Ronald Ignasiak.

She is survived by: her children, Lynn Spencer (Tom Younker) of Grand Haven, Scott VanKampen of Holland and Tim VanKampen of Holland; her sister Peggy Vogelsong of Grand Haven; her grandchildren, Nicole Dethmers (Graham) of Ann Arbor and Mitchell VanKampen of Holland; her great grandchild Mason Lohman of Holland; and her grandchildren, Curtis (Jasmin) and Penelope Mulder of Fort Meyers. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
