She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Jose Antonio Acevedo Herrera; her children, Jose Acevedo (Jessica Ramirez), Wendy Acevedo (Gilberto Rosales), Dulce Acevedo and Stephanie Acevedo (Mario Garcia); her grandchildren, Camila, Nicol, Yael, Antonella, Giancarlo, Angel, Kimberly, Zuri and Adiel; and her father Luis Garcia. She was also cherished by 10 brothers and sisters and many extended family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dykstra Funeral Home - Northwood Chapel (295 Douglas Ave, Holland, MI 49424). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church (171 W 13th St, Holland, MI 49423).
Donations may be made to the family to offset funeral costs.
