She was predeceased by: her husband Henry DeWeerdt; and her son Don DeWeerdt. She is survived by: her children, Ken of Overisel, Nancy DeWeerdt of Overisel, Vern of Overisel, Verna DeWeerdt of Overisel, Elaine of Overisel and Dale Flokstra of Overisel; her daughter-in-law Elaine Van Heuvelen (DeWeerdt) of Holland; her siblings, Ida Janssen and John Zeerip; and her sister-in-law Angie Zeerip. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter.

Memorial contributions may be given to Overisel Christian Reformed Church.
